Distilled with a special sweet potato cultivated with the distillery’s secret recipe.DAIYAME is marked by a fragrance like that of fresh lychee coming from the monoterpene alcohol (MTA) contained in large amounts in Koujuku-imo. This shochu also pairs well with many international foods. Especially when combined with soda water, its rich flavours are enhanced. “Daiyame” is the dialect of Kagoshima which means “to renew or recover from one’s fatigue after dinner”.
